Volunteer Program
At Casa del Sol, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals who wish to contribute their skills and energy to support our mission during our monthly retreats. Volunteers not only assist with the daily operations but also participate fully in all retreat activities, gaining valuable experience in a transformative environment. As a volunteer, you pay 50% of the retreat cost and stay in shared accommodation.
We have two volunteer opportunities:
Helpers
Assist in various areas such as the kitchen, ceremonial space preparation, facility maintenance, and gardening. Helpers provide 2-4 hours of daily service, supporting the smooth running of the retreat.
Content Creators
For those with advanced skills in audiovisual content creation (photography, videography, blogging, etc.). Content creators produce a photo album and/or video content (raw and edited) and provide written material about their experience. Due to the sensitivity of our work, we are selective in this position and require a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Application Process
- Submit an email with a concise resume, work portfolio, work experience, and a recent photo of yourself.
- Complete the volunteer application form.
- Schedule an interview with our team.
- Once the application process is complete, we will review and respond with our decision.
Volunteer Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with cleaning, ceremonial preparation, and kitchen duties.
- Gardening and minor facility tasks.
- For content creators, delivering professional-quality photo, video, and written content after the retreat.
Volunteers participate in all retreat ceremonies and activities, and we ensure a careful selection process to maintain the sacred environment of Casa del Sol.
